Chennai, Dec 5 (Reporter) Floral tributes were paid to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK Supremo J Jayalalithaa on her eighth death anniversary across the State on Thursday. In Chennai, AIADMK General Secretary and Leader of the Opposition Edappadi K Palaniswami, clad in black shirts, and accompanied by senior leaders and former Ministers, paid floral tributes at her memorial on the Marina beach front. Earlier, they came in a silent procession from the Anna Statue on the arterial Anna Salai to the memorial where they paid tributes at her memorial and observed two minutes silence. They also paid floral tributes at the memorial of AIADMK Founder MGR which was located adjacent to her memorial.
