Srinagar, Feb 3 (Reporter) In their continued efforts to eliminate the drug menace from society, Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested three drug peddlers and seized contraband substances from them in Sopore township of Baramulla district. Police on Monday said that during a naka checking at Hamdania Colony Naidhal Rafiabad, a police team intercepted three individuals identified as Aadil Ahmad Lone, Mohammad Shafi Sheikh, and Sajad Ahmad Lone, all residents of Nadihal Rafiabad. Upon their search, the police recovered 122 grams of contraband charas-like substance from them. The trio was arrested, they said. A case (FIR No. 06/2025) has been filed under the relevant sections of the law at Police Station Panzalla, and an investigation has begun.
