Patna, Sep 01(Reporter) Senior party leader K C Tyagi resigned as National Spokesperson of JD(U) on Sunday, citing personal reasons behind his decision.
Tyagi, in his letter to party President Nitish Kumar, had requested to relieve him from the post of National Spokesperson of JD(U) as he could not do justice to his assignment due to engagement in other works. Accepting his request, JD(U) relieved him from the post and appointed Rajiv Ranjan Prasad in his place.
While Tyagi maintained that he had stepped down from the post of National Spokesperson due to personal reasons, it is assumed that his recent statements on lateral entry into top bureaucracy and the Israel-Palestine dispute, a different view from the party line, led to his ouster from the assignment.
Tyagi is considered a leader having different views from the party line on several issues and towards BJP...////...
