Hyderabad/New Delhi, Sep 14 (Reporter) Union Coal and Mines Minister and BJP Telangana President, G Kishan Reddy, has once again questioned the credibility of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, stating that his words and actions are consistently disconnected. In a statement released on Saturday, Reddy criticised Gandhi for speaking about the degradation of India's democratic values and disrespecting the Constitution while on foreign soil, without addressing the undemocratic behaviour exhibited by Congress Party supporters in Dallas on September 7. Reddy referenced an incident involving Rohit Sharma, a senior journalist from India Today, who interviewed Sam Pitroda, the Congress Party's foreign affairs in-charge, during Rahul Gandhi's recent visit to the U.S. After questioning Pitroda about Gandhi’s foreign visit and reactions from the Indian diaspora, Sharma asked, "During discussions with American lawmakers, will Rahul Gandhi also address the problems faced by Hindus in Bangladesh?" This query reportedly angered Congress leaders present. The Congress leaders allegedly insulted Sharma and confiscated his phone. Reddy accused Gandhi's group of being afraid to answer valid questions, especially those concerning the treatment of Hindus. "This is Rahul Gandhi and his close circle. The question about the massacre of Hindus in Bangladesh exposes how the Congress party treats Hindus. Is it not telling that Congress leaders couldn’t respond to a legitimate question and instead attacked the journalist?" Reddy asked. He urged all democratically minded individuals to condemn Rahul Gandhi and his associates, accusing them of spreading false propaganda that journalists lack protection, even abroad. Reddy condemned the alleged attack on Sharma, calling it an atrocity carried out at Gandhi's behest. Reddy also pointed out what he called the Congress party’s long-standing suppression of the media, referencing the Emergency imposed by Rahul Gandhi's grandmother, Indira Gandhi, during which many journalists were jailed under the Maintenance of Internal Security Act (MISA). "The habit of silencing the press is in the DNA of the Congress party, especially the Nehru-Gandhi family," he asserted. Reddy further criticised the Congress Party for failing to protect Hindu interests, adding that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had raised concerns about the safety of Hindus in Bangladesh during his recent discussions with US. President Joe Biden and Bangladesh's interim government. According to Reddy, Gandhi’s reluctance to address Hindu protection issues stems from the Congress party's alleged anti-Hindu ideology. He stated that the majority of Indians no longer trust the Congress party, even if it claims to defend the Constitution...////...
