Bengaluru, Jan 4 (Reporter) Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has firmly denied any changes to the state's leadership or the possibility of a cabinet reshuffle, quelling rumours that had been circulating among political circles. Speculation about a shift in leadership had intensified following a dinner hosted by State Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi on Thursday, which was attended by Siddaramaiah and several of his cabinet colleagues. However, the Chief Minister, on Friday night, clarified that the gathering was nothing more than a social meal and not a platform for political discussions or decision-making. When questioned about the rumours, which had suggested potential changes to the Chief Minister's post or the cabinet, Siddaramaiah dismissed the claims as false. He stated unequivocally, “These are baseless speculations. There is no truth to these reports.” The speculation also extended to potential changes within the Congress leadership, particularly regarding the position of the state president, which has been held by Deputy CM DK Shivakumar for five years. However, Siddaramaiah rejected these rumours in the same manner, highlighting that such discussions were merely the product of unnecessary conjecture.
