Belagavi, June 12 (Reporter) Drama unfolded in a Belagavi district court on Wednesday when Jayesh Pujari, a notorious gangster known for threatening Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and senior IPS officer Alok Kumar, caused a frenzy by shouting pro-Pakistan slogans during his appearance before the judge.
Pujari, infamous for his ransom demands and threats to bomb Gadkari's Nagpur office, shocked the courtroom by yelling "Pakistan Zindabad" after being denied a chance to present his case. The outburst ignited immediate fury among the court's attendees, including advocates and onlookers, who launched a physical assault on Pujari.
The scene turned chaotic as police struggled to extricate Pujari from the enraged crowd, eventually managing to whisk him away to the APMC police station.
Pujari, originally from Dakshina Kannada District, is currently incarcerated in Hindalga Central Prison. Police sources have confirmed that additional charges will be pressed against him for his inflammatory actions in court...////...
