Medak (Telangana), Jan 12 (Reporter) Former Minister and Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao emphatically declared that former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) and Telangana are indissolubly linked. Speaking at the unveiling ceremony of the Telangana Thalli statue in Jeedipalli, Manoharabad Mandal, Medak district on Friday, Rao expressed his joy in inaugurating the statue of Telangana Thalli. He stated that KCR is synonymous with Telangana, and their connection is unbreakable. Rao attributed numerous advancements and welfare measures to the leadership of KCR, emphasizing the transformative impact on the state. He credited Telangana for bringing prosperity, improved water supply, village development, Asara pension, Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, Kalyana Lakshmi, Divyangs pension, and the KCR kit. Rao asserted that KCR's commitment and leadership were instrumental in realizing these benefits, and the party, recognizing the people's mandate, will work with gratitude for every vote received. Addressing the opposition's claims about blocking development, Rao questioned the feasibility of Congress's promises, particularly regarding a new electricity policy. He challenged assertions about KCR's commitment to providing 24-hour electricity to farmers and expressed concerns about potential impediments to the progress initiated by the party. Rao affirmed the Bharatiya Rythu Samithi's (BRS) dedication to safeguarding Telangana's interests in Delhi. The former Minister assured that the BRS would continue to fight for the people's welfare, standing firmly by their side even in the face of challenges.
