Kannur, Mar 8 (Reporter) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the four-lining of Thalassery-Mahe bypass section of National Highway (NH) 77 (New NH -66), through video conference, on March 11. After a 46-year wait, the Thalassery-Mahe bypass in Kannur district connecting Mahe in Puducherry will become a reality. Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Union Minister for Road Transport and Higways, Nitin Gadkari and Puducherry Chief Minsiter N Rangasamy will attend the programme. The bypass will help the passengers to cover a distance of 18.6 Km from Muzhipilanghad in Kannur to Azhiyoor in Kozhikode district in just 14 minutes, whereas earlier took nearly 45 minutes.
