Hyderabad / New Delhi, Jun 9 (Reporter) G Kishan Reddy, set to take oath as Union Minister on Sunday evening, has committed to working for development of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to media in New Delhi today, Reddy promised to whole-heartedly fulfil election promises over next five years.
He highlighted that the NDA government, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, has spent Rs 10 lakh crore in Telangana during its decade-long regime.
The developmental programmes such as roads, ration rice, and water supply in rural areas are continuing, he added.
Reddy noted that the Modi government has constructed four crore houses for poor across the country and assured construction of another three crore houses in coming five years.
He urged party activists to take necessary steps to strengthen the party and expressed gratitude to party cadres for their support in his victory in the Secunderabad parliamentary constituency.
