Bengaluru, Feb 29 (Reporter) Karnataka BJP MLAs held a protest in Vidhana Soudha on Thursday morning, urging action on the matter concerning to 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogans raised by Congress MP Syed Naseer Hussain's supporters. They flayed the Congress government for not arresting the supporters of Congress Hussain who raised pro-Pakistan slogans on assembly premises. R Ashoka, the Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka assembly, demanded the arrest of those who raised pro-Pakistan slogans. So far Mohammad Shafi Nashipudi, Hussain's supporter, has been detained by Byadagi police. He was present in Vidhana Soudha along with Hussain in the celebration after the Rajya Sabha election victory, police said. "We have collected his voice sample and are analysing it," they said. Former Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai alleged that the Congress is allowing pro-Pakistan slogans inside Vidhan Sabha which is a danger to the security and democracy of the country. "Still, the government is not taking any action and they are trying to cover up the whole issue. And we are against it. That is why we protested," he said. On Congress MLC BK Hariprasad's comments that Pakistan may be an enemy country to the BJP, but for Congress it is just a neighbouring country, Bommai said it shows the mentality of the Congress party and soft-attitude towards Pakistan. In response to the protest by the BJP, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said the government has sent the audio recording to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), and appropriate action would be taken after receiving the report. "As I said earlier, the government is committed, we will not spare any person once the report comes. We have given it to FSL. We will take action once the report comes," he said...////...
