Hyderabad, Jan 27 (Reporter) K T Rama Rao (KTR), former Minister and working President of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), alleged a "fevikal bandham" (connection) between Congress and the BJP.
Addressing activists of the Jubilee Hills Constituency in a meeting on Saturday, KTR claimed that in the forthcoming parliamentary elections, the Congress party plans to support BJP candidates by fielding dummy candidates on its behalf.
He asserted that voting for the Congress in parliamentary elections is equivalent to supporting the BJP, as the two parties allegedly collaborate closely.
KTR criticized the pre-election stance of Revanth Reddy, accusing him of scolding Adani before the elections and later making agreements with the company after coming to power. He also claimed that the BJP worked to benefit the Congress in the MLC elections, and he expressed dissatisfaction with the governor's rejection of their party's nominated MLC candidates.
Further, KTR highlighted the alleged arrogance of the Congress party, leading to opposition parties leaving the alliance. He claimed that Rahul Gandhi was the only one left in that alliance, emphasizing the weakening position of the Congress in states like Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan against the BJP.
KTR urged the people of Telangana to support the leadership of KCR, drawing parallels with leaders like Mamata Banerjee, Nitish Kumar, and the Aam Aadmi Party in other states. He emphasized that BRS, under KCR's leadership, defeated prominent BJP leaders in Telangana.
Additionally, KTR criticized the Congress for what he termed fraudulent practices and urged voters to consider alternative parties like BRS in parliamentary elections. He accused the Congress of making false promises and highlighted the welfare schemes implemented by the BRS government in Telangana.
Responding to Kishan Reddy's claims, KTR challenged him to explain his contributions to the Secunderabad Parliament Constituency and criticized the central government for not providing ambitious projects to Telangana. He accused Kishan Reddy of being a failed Union Minister and asserted that the pink flag of BRS would dominate Hyderabad during parliamentary elections...////...
