Hyderabad, Jan 10 (Reporter) K T Rama Rao (KTR), Working President of BRS, addressed party leaders of the Warangal Lok Sabha Constituency at Telangana Bhavan on Wednesday during a preparatory meeting for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Highlighting the transformative decade under former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), KTR credited KCR for steering Telangana from devastation to development. During the meeting, KTR commended KCR's unparalleled dedication to rural economic support, noting that 99 per cent of the time was dedicated to governance for the swift development of Telangana. He expressed commitment to continuous party-strengthening efforts and affirmed the party's confidence in securing public support before the upcoming elections. KTR emphasized the significance of Warangal, referring to it as the birthplace of Jayashankar sir and expressing the party's goal to hoist the pink flag in Warangal once again. The preparatory meeting for the eighth parliamentary seat focused on gathering suggestions to strengthen the party, reviewing defects, and preparing for the parliamentary elections. While urging party members to focus on upcoming Parliament elections and work towards victory, KTR acknowledged the enthusiasm among activists and encouraged hard work with the same dedication. He urged activists to remind the public about Congress's promises and criticized the party for cancelling welfare schemes for political reasons. KTR also addressed concerns about the Congress government's policies, expressing dissatisfaction with the cancellation of beneficial schemes. He emphasized the importance of listening to the voices of the poor and criticized Congress for attempting to backtrack on its promises.
