Siricilla (Telangana), May 14 (Reporter) K T Rama Rao (KTR), the working President of BRS, confidently asserted that despite the concerted efforts of Congress and BJP, BRS is poised to secure more seats than the other two parties in the Lok Sabha elections held on Monday.
Addressing the media in Siricilla on Tuesday, KTR stated, "We competed with BJP in some constituencies and Congress in others. Despite initial doubts about winning any seats, our pink brigade has dealt a severe blow to both Congress and BJP."
KTR emphasized the growing influence of regional parties, envisioning them as the decisive force in national politics, while questioning Congress and BJP's potential to secure a majority.
He criticized Congress for fielding what he termed as "dummy candidates" in several areas, accusing them of attempting to undermine BRS's momentum. He also highlighted the support extended by rural communities to BRS, citing farmers' dissatisfaction over the non-sanctioning of Rythu Bharosa and women's anger over unfulfilled promises, including the non-disbursement of Rs 2500.
Acknowledging the efforts of former Chief Minister KCR, KTR attributed the party's success to KCR's extensive bus tour, which resonated with voters across the state.
Expressing gratitude to party workers, supporters, and social media activists, KTR recognized their tireless efforts in securing the party's victory.
Looking ahead, KTR expressed confidence that the momentum gained in the Lok Sabha elections would translate into success in future local body and municipality elections, laying a strong foundation for the party's continued growth and influence.
KTR thanked all those who contributed to the party's success and reiterated the party's commitment to serving the interests of Telangana...////...
