Hyderabad, Feb 2 (Reporter) BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) lashed out at the Congress government, alleging that all sectors have collapsed during its one-year rule, leading to a surge in suicides among farmers and aspiring entrepreneurs.
Through the Twitter (X), KTR claimed that during K Chandrashekar Rao’s (KCR) ten-year tenure, Telangana, once plagued by hunger and suicides, was transformed into Annapurna—a state that contributed significantly to the nation’s food production. However, he accused the Congress of reversing this progress, turning Telangana into a land of despair and suicides.
KTR further criticised the Congress-led administration, stating that it is not a government of the people but one that harasses them. He expressed outrage over the alleged decline in Telangana’s real estate sector, attributing it to projects like Hydra and Musi cleansing.
He voiced concerns that investment opportunities for entrepreneurs have dwindled and accused the government of encouraging predatory lending practices.
Highlighting KCR’s contributions, KTR asserted that the former Chief Minister had strengthened the agricultural sector, provided essential support to farmers, and instilled confidence in them.
In contrast, he blamed Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s government for the increasing distress among farmers, citing a lack of irrigation water, power shortages, failure to procure crops, absence of farmer assurances, and the delay in loan waivers as reasons for their despair...////...
