Hyderabad, Aug 11 (Reporter) BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) emphasised that the brand Telangana should not suffer due to political differences.
In a post on X, KTR stated, "We worked very hard to convince Amara Raja to invest ₹9,500 crore in Telangana. The government, as an institution, must ensure policy continuity. Brand Telangana should not suffer because of our political differences."
KTR expressed hope that the Congress government will act wisely and honour commitments made to all investors who have set up operations in the state. He also urged the Chief Minister to refrain from making alarming statements about the state being in a debt trap or comparing it to a cancer patient, noting that Telangana is, in fact, a vibrant, revenue-surplus state with the highest per capita income in the country.
KTR warned of the potential consequences if key investors decide to leave the state, stating, "We have already seen Kaynes Technology leave Telangana for Gujarat, lost the Corning plant to Chennai, and if Amara Raja now leaves, it would be a disaster...////...
