Lightning claims ten lives in Bihar

Patna, July 5 (Reporter) At least 10 people, including women, died in lightning incidents in various districts in Bihar on Friday. According to the reports pouring in here from various districts, three people lost their lives in Jehanabad, two each in Nalanda, Begusarai, and Vaishali, and one in Saran. The report from Jahanabad said that three people were charred alive in Sukanadigha Tola of Ganga Bigha village under the Makhdumpur police station area. A report from Rajgir said that two deaths were reported from Sakri village under the Islampur police station area in Nalanda District, whereas in Begusarai, two women, one in village Shibu Tola under the Bachhwara police station area and the other in Tetri village under the Dandari police station area, died in the lightning incident. A report from Hajipur in Vaishali district stated that two women, one belonging to Nirpur Khushali village and the other a resident of Bishunpur Arara Panchayat, died in the thunder storm.
