Patna, Oct 29 (Reporter) Bihar Minister Dilip Jaiswal on Tuesday said that the state government would release a list of top leaders consuming liquor in dry Bihar. Jaiswal, Minister of Revenue and Land Reforms and also President of the Bihar unit of BJP, told media persons that the state government was enforcing liquor ban strictly in Bihar. Strict vigil was being maintained on those engaged in liquor selling and consuming and action was also being taken against them, he added. Minister responding to a query about an allegation leveled against RJD leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav consuming liquor, said that several persons were indulged in liquor consumption despite prohibition enforced in the state. A list of persons consuming liquor would be released soon by the Excise and Prohibition Department and some of them were top leaders of Grand Alliance, he pointed out and added that video footage could also be released in some cases. RJD leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav had accused Nitish Kumar government of utter failure to enforce a liquor ban in the state, after hooch tragedy in Saran , Siwan, and other districts of Bihar recently. Several dozen persons had lost their lives in the incident. On the other hand, HAM patron and Union Minister Jeetan Ram Manjhi had alleged that RJD leader Tejaswi used to consume liquor.
