Amaravati, Sep 23 (Reporter) The embedded upper air cyclonic circulations, one over Westcentral Bay of Bengal and another over south Coastal Myanmar & neighbourhood in the east-west trough has merged and are seen as a cyclonic circulation over Central Bay of Bengal extending up to 5.8 Km above mean sea level tilting south-westwards with height.
Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Monday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that the southwest monsoon has been normal in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema.
Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours.
Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and strong Surface winds with speed ranging from 30- 40 Kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next five days and in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next three days.
Strong surface winds with speed ranging from 30-40 Kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on September 26 and 27.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at many places or at a few places or at one or two places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.
