Mumbai, Jan 23 (Reporter) In unfortunate occurrence, Maharashtra has registered 11 deaths of tiger in Vidarbha region in past 22 days.
As per a report released on Thursday, there has been an increase in the number of tiger deaths in the state beginning of year 2025.
Eleven tigers died in Vidarbha in last 22 days, said the report.
An extensive search operation was launched to ascertain exact cause of deaths, but no signs of poachers or human intervention have been found at the site, except one was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Girad area of Wardha district.
