Sangli, May 29 (Reporter) Two women and three kids were among six of a family killed on the spot in a road accident in Sangli district of Maharashtra. Police sources said the incident took place in Tasgaon tehsil's Tasgaon-Manerajuri road when the family was returning from Kokale village after attending a birthday ceremony. Their car went out of control and fell into the Tasri canal. Six were killed on the spot and one woman was seriously injured. The injured woman has been admitted to the hospital. According to the sources, help could not reach early as the area was deserted area and dark, the injured woman did not get timely help and she had to wait till daybreak. Police reached the spot Wednesday morning.
