Mumbai, Sep 28 (Reporter) Maharashtra Agriculture Minister Dhananjay Munde informed on Saturday that his ministry will felicitate farmers, individuals, organisations as well as officials and employees who have done remarkable work in agriculture, horticulture and allied sectors in the state, with various agricultural awards in a function to be held at National Sports Club of India Worli in Mumbai on Sunday.
A total of 448 awards for the three years 2020, 2021 and 2022 will be presented by Governor C P Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis, Ajit Pawar, Minister Munde, Employment Guarantee Minister Dadaji Bhuse in the chief presence of Mumbai's Guardian Minister and School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar, an official press statement stated here on Saturday.
In this programme, Dr Punjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Ratna Award (one), Vasantrao Naik Krishi Bhushan Award, Jijamata Krishi Bhushan Award, Krishi Bhushan (Organic Farming) Award, Vasantrao Naik Krishi Bhushan Award, Youth Farmer Award, Udyan Pandit Award (eight each), Vasantrao Naik Farmer Award (40), Padma Shri Dr Vitthalrao Vikhe-Patil Krishi Seva Ratna Award (10), Foodgrains and pulses under the state crop competition scheme will be distributed.
