Informing this on his social media handle X (formerly Twitter), he stated that "today (July 15) is the last date to pay crop insurance at one rupee under Pradhan Mantri Pik Bima Yojana." "However, since many farmers in the state are still deprived of paying crop insurance for some reasons, I have written a letter to the central government on behalf of the state government to extend the deadline for paying crop insurance to give them a chance and I myself am following up on this," he wrote.
