Maha: Ajit Pawar expresses gratitude to PM Modi for Banjara Virasat Museum

Mumbai, Oct 5 (Reporter) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP (AP) national president, Ajit Pawar, on Saturday expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inaugurating Banjara Virasat Museum and said that this museum will showcase the rich heritage, culture and traditions of the Banjara community. The Prime Minister inaugurated the Banjara Virasat Museum at Pohradevi. Besides inauguration of the museum, Modi launched various initiatives related to the agricultural and animal husbandry sector worth around Rs 23,300 crore in Washim. Talking about the museum, Pawar said, “This museum will showcase the rich heritage, culture and traditions of the Banjara community.” In the year 2017, the then chief minister Devendra Fadnavis allocated Rs 25 crore for this project.
