Mumbai, Jan 21 (Reporter) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Tuesday expressed his grief over the demise of veteran kirtan maestro Dr Kisan Maharaj Sakhre, saying that he dedicated his entire life in propagating spirituality, philosophy and saint literature.
In his condolence message, Pawar said that Dr Kisan Maharaj Sakhre deeply studied the literature of saints and enlightened the society spiritually through kirtans and sermons.
Commenting on books like Dnyaneshwari, Tukaram Gatha, Eknathi Bhagwat, he conveyed the thoughts of these saints to the people.
For promotion and dissemination of Dnyaneshwari, he used modern technology to effectively present the thoughts of the saint.
Maharashtra has lost a guiding figure due to his inspirational work.
Due to the death of Sakhre Maharaj, there has been an immeasurable loss to the field of spirituality, education and saint literature, the Deputy CM said, adding, "the memory and thoughts of Sakhre Maharaj will always inspire us...////...
