Mumbai, Oct 19 (Reporter) The city police on Saturday issued a suspension order against Shyam Sonawane, the head constable who was providing security to slain former Maharashtra MLA Baba Siddique. Notably, Siddique was shot dead allegedly by three men last week outside his son's office in suburban Bandra. Sonawane, attached with Protection Branch of Mumbai police, was suspended for negligence. Sonawane was earlier questioned by the city Crime Branch, which is investigating the murder case. It has arrested five more suspects, taking the total number of arrested persons in sensational case to nine. Meanwhile, in another significant lead that has emerged in the investigation, a picture of Baba Siddique's son, Zeeshan Siddique, was found on the phone of one of the accused. The image had been shared with the accused via Snapchat by their handler.
