Mumbai, Apr 1 (Reporter) Maharashtra BJP chief spokesperson Keshav Upadhyay on Monday took a dig at the INDIA bloc's meeting held on Sunday at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi, calling it as a 'grand meeting of the corrupt'.
Addressing a press conference at party state office, he alleged that many leaders who are involved in various major scams, had come together in this Maha Mela (mega rally).
Among them were Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and NCP (SP faction) chief Sharad Pawar, he informed.
Claiming that INDIA bloc has shown its true form to the country by giving the slogan of 'corruption protection', the BJP leader noted that no matter how much the INDIA bloc leaders protest, these leaders will have to give answers to the voters on their corruption cases in the Lok Sabha elections.
Reading out allegations of corruption against the leading leaders of the INDIA bloc, he said that the court has upheld the charges against Arvind Kejriwal, Hemant Soren, Manish Sisodia, Satyendra Jain, Sanjay Singh and refused to grant them bail.
This proves their involvement in the scam, he pointed.
Upadhyay said that corruption cases are also going on against Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Lalu Prasad Yadav.
