Mumbai, Oct 30 (Reporter) The Congress party in-charge of Maharashtra, Ramesh Chennithala, on Wednesday dismissed speculations of disagreement within three constituents of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), asserting that there are no disputes over sharing of seats within the MVA and there will be no friendly contests.
Addressing a press conference here, he said that in constituencies where alliance partners have filed
nominations, they will withdraw them after discussions within two days.
Talks are also ongoing with the Samajwadi Party, and a decision will be made soon, he said.
Expressing confidence that there will be no friendly contest within the MVA, he claimed that on contrary, the BJP alliance is facing significant confusion over seat-sharing.
There is utter chaos within the BJP alliance so much so that BJP has fielded candidates even on seats belonging to Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar groups, he further claimed.
Continuing his criticism of the Mahayuti, Chennithala alleged that the Mahayuti government is corrupt, with inflation and unemployment having risen sharply and over last two years, the government has looted Maharashtra.
Also, industries in the state have been moved to other states, he claimed.
Although the Mahayuti government has announced numerous decisions, implementing them will be difficult, he noted.
As there is no money in the government’s treasury, the famed "Ladki Bahin" scheme will be shut down, he claimed.
Hence, the people of the state have resolved to remove this corrupt BJP government, Chennithala expressed confidence that the BJP’s corrupt government will be replaced by an MVA government that will fulfil the people’s aspirations, he added.
Speaking on this occasion, state party president Nana Patole also attacked the Mahayuti government...////...
