Maha CM assures funds for Paushwari Yatrautsava of Sant Nivruttinath Maharaj

Mumbai, Feb 4 (Reporter) Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Sunday assured that the government would provide funds to Sant Nivruttinath Samadhi Sansthan at Trimbakeshwar to provide various facilities for devotees who come for the Paushwari pilgrimage of Sant Nivruttinath Maharaj, which is foundation of saint tradition. He gave this assurance while reviewing preparations for the Paushwari Yatrautsava of Sant Nivruttinath Maharaj today in a meeting held at his official Varsha bungalow. The Paushwari ceremony of Sant Nivruttinath Maharaj, who is known as Vishwaguru in tradition of saints, is celebrated in the same grand manner as Ashadhi and Kartiki wari, he said and noted that lakhs of pilgrims come from all over the state for the Paushwari Yatrautsava of Sant Nivruttinath Maharaj. While planning this event, administration should look at this event as a dress rehearsal for the Simhastha Kumbh Mela to be held in Nashik in 2027, the Chief Minister said. Measures should be taken to ensure that pilgrims coming for this pilgrimage are not inconvenienced in any way, he said and added that plans should be made to waive tolls by providing stickers on the vehicles...////...
