Satara, Nov 5 (Reporter) Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde on Tuesday severely criticised rival Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, alleging that the latter had deserted the thoughts of party founder late Bal Thackeray only for power.
Addressing an election campaign this afternoon at Koregaon of the district for the Mahayuti's candidate sitting MLA Mahesh Shinde, he claimed that people had wanted the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance government in the state, but Thackeray abandoned the thoughts of late Bal Thackeray only for power.
However, he has redeemed with respect the thoughts of late Bal Thackeray and also the party symbol bow and arrow that were mortgaged by the Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, he claimed.
In a sharp rebuke to opposition, Shinde also claimed that no political party can close the Mahayuti's 'Ladki Bahin' yojana and added that it will continue even after election...////...
