Mumbai, Jan 21 (Reporter) The Maharashtra Congress will organise a protest march across the state against actions of the Election Commission and for protection of democracy and the rights of the voters on January 25, National Voters Day, said Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee president Nana Patole on Tuesday. Addressing a press conference here, he said even though it is the duty of the Election Commission to conduct fair and transparent elections, the manner in which the EC is currently conducting elections has raised a question mark on the credibility of the Commission. He charged that the BJP and the EC have strangled democracy by robbing votes in the assembly election and raised a doubt about upsurge in voters in assembly election just six months after the the Lok Sabha elections.
