Baramati, Jan 11 (Reporter) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar held a review meeting with officials of all the departments here on Saturday.
He directed the officials to follow Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis commitment who had recently announced that he will review the department-wise works in the next 100 days.
Pawar gave clear instructions to the concerned officials during the inspection of various development works underway in Baramati area and said laxity will not be tolerated.
The Deputy CM said the state government has taken up a program regarding the works to be done in the next 100 days and it is being implemented. Under this, various government offices, public places, schools, colleges in the taluka should be cleaned in the form of a campaign. Necessary measures should be taken to curb illegal manufacture of liquor and several others.
A plan should be prepared to provide benefits of government schemes to the unorganized workers, he said, adding that make available on the website in advance all the information that will be requested under the RTI Act. Innovative activities should be implemented in the office to make the daily life of citizens easier. Planning should be done so that services are available to the citizens at home.
Complaints of citizens, pending cases should be resolved. Drinking water, clean toilets, meeting facilities etc. should be made available to citizens coming to government offices.
Modern technology should be used to speed up the administrative work, all the concerned departments should make efforts in the next 100 days to remain the number one taluka in the state, he added...////...
