Mumbai, Apr 10 (Reporter) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday criticised Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray demanding to show any good work his party has had done for Mumbai in last 25 years despite being in power and enjoying majority in the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Addressing a meeting held here for campaigning of BJP candidate Piyush Goyal, he said that in last 10 years, the Narendra Modi government has transformed the life of the common man in Mumbai.
The Modi government at the Centre and the grand coalition government in the state have taken various initiatives to make life easier for every section of society by launching various development works in Mumbai, he said.
Observing that this year's election is an election for development of the common man, Fadnavis said that the Modi government has been working tirelessly for past 10 years to transform the lives of common man.
"For next five years, we should hand over the key of country to the Modi government to keep the engine of development running at full speed. Mahayuti is a railway that is inclusive of general public and develops comprehensively," he pointed.
"It is up to wise voters to decide whether they want to sit in such a train or sit in the train of the opposition going in different directions," he added while taunting the opposition...////...
