Kolhapur, Nov 6 (Reporter) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Devendra Fadnavis, on Wednesday slammed senior Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi for showing a red copy of the Constitution of the country at every public event, alleging that by doing so, he was endangering the unity and integrity of the country. Talking to reporters here on the sidelines of his campaign tour, the BJP leader fired a salvo at Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo and Sanvidhan Bachao' campaign and questioned "whom are you (Gandhi) warning by showing a red copy of the Constitution at every place in the country." "Everyone respects the Constitution, then what is the purpose of showing a red copy of the Constitution," he countered. Talking about his 'Bharat Jodo' initiative, he alleged that many left-wing outfits, engaged in spreading anarchy in the country, are a part of it and claimed that the Congress leader was helping in spreading anarchy by showing a red copy of the Constitution in public forums. Fadnavis further alleged that through his association with anarchists in the name of 'Bharat Jodo' campaign, Rahul Gandhi was trying to spread a malaise in society, he charged. Urban naxalism was no different than this, he said in a jab and explained that it means to pollute people's minds and instill chaos in them so that they lose faith in the country's institutions and systems.
