Jalgaon, Oct 7 (Reporter) Eight people were injured, six of them seriously, following explosion of a household gas cylinder at Kasoda in Erandol taluka of the district. The explosion occurred in the house of one Anil Puna Marathe, a farmer, at Kasoda in Erandol taluka, on Sunday evening due to leakage of gas after installation a new gas cylinder, causing a sudden fire. Due to the incident, Anil Marathe and his other family members ran out of the house, police said on Monday. Upon hearing the news of incident, the neighbours gathered thinking that the farmer's cotton was on fire. When they went near the door of the house to check, there was a sudden big explosion of the gas cylinder in the house. Due to this explosion, eight onlookers sustained burn injuries. As soon as other villagers came to know about incident, they admitted all injured persons to hospitals.
