Mumbai, Feb 10 (Reporter) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Monday that Mumbai is emerging as the 'Convention Capital' of India and expressed that the modern convention centre in the new hotel of Taj Group in suburban Bandra will increase the business opportunities in city. Speaking on occasion of the groundbreaking ceremony of the Taj Group's new and state-of-the-art hotel in western suburb of Bandra, he said that this hotel, while adding to the beauty of Mumbai and becoming important from the point of view of tourism and business, will create a new identity for Mumbai in the future. Mentioning that the Tata Group and especially the Taj Hotels have played a major role in development of India, he said, "The Taj is not just a hotel, but the pride of every Indian." The Chief Minister hoped that "like the Taj in Colaba ​​in the 20th century, the new hotel will be the new symbol of the 21st century."
