Mumbai, Feb 1 (Reporter) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday praised the Union Budget 2025 presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in parliament, describing it as 'dream budget for the middle class with significant changes in Income tax exemptions and TDS (tax deducted at source).
While speaking to reporters here, he said, “I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman Ji for a dream budget. This will give a massive benefit to the middle class, the newly employed. This will lead to an increase in expenditure. MSMEs will benefit. This will lead to employment generation. A bold step taken, is what I can say about the budget. It is a milestone for India’s financial progress.”
