Maha: Founder of Tech firm dies during ED search in Mumbai

Mumbai, Feb 1 (Reporter) Founder and chairman of city-based tech firm Vakrangee Limited, Dinesh Nandwana (62), died during a search being conducted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at his premises in Andheri (East), officials said here on Saturday. According to Ravindra Chavan, senior inspector, MIDC police station, Nandwana’s health deteriorated while the central agency’s Jalandhar unit officials, who were escorted by local police, were conducting a search on Friday at around 11.30 am. He said that immediately he was rushed to the hospital but died before admission. 'Prima facie, it looks like he had a heart attack, but we are awaiting the postmortem report to ascertain the exact cause of death,” said Chavan. The police have registered an accidental death report. ED generally records statements of those concerned found on the premises and restrict their movement / communication during the proceeding.
