Maha: Govt signs MoU with NSDC International

Mumbai, Jul 30 (Reporter) The Maharashtra government on Tuesday signed an agreement with NSDC International Limited, in presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, to establish a centre for skills-based certificate courses in Pune. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Pramod Naik, director of Technical Education Department, on behalf of the Government of Maharashtra, and Vedamani Tiwari, chief executive officer of NSDC International Limited Company. According to this agreement, the company will provide training according to the skill requirement of manpower in different countries. This MoU was signed with NSDC International to conduct these courses in the state, which will benefit the youths of the state in getting employment opportunities in the country and abroad. For the training centre, NSDC International will be made available the premises of the Government Distance Education Tantra Niketan Sanstha in Pune. NSDC International conducts skill-based courses in accordance with the employment opportunities announced by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship of the central government in order to provide employment opportunities to the youths of the country...////...
