Pune, Jun 16 (Reporter) Maharashtra Education Minister and senior BJP leader, Chandrakant Patil, said on Sunday that the government will soon come out with an order for free education of girls in the state. Speaking at a 'bhoomi pujan' function organized by the Maharashtrian Brahmin Sabha here, he further said that since the government has accorded highest priority to education of girls, it has had announced in interim to provide free education to families with an annual income of less than Rs eight lakh. However, due to the code of conduct implemented for the Lok Sabha election, the order was delayed but it will be implemented soon, he informed.
