Maha Govt to provide Rs 5 lakh to kin of railway accident victims: Fadnavis

Mumbai, Jan 22 (Reporter) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday announced that the state government will provide Rs five lakh to heirs of deceased in unfortunate railway accident near Pachora station in Jalgaon district. On his social media handle X, he stated that the government will provide financial assistance of Rs five lakh to the heirs of the deceased in the unfortunate accident in Jalgaon district and the state government will also bear the entire expenses of the injured. "I pray to God for the speedy recovery of the injured," Fadnavis added. Notably, eight passengers on board Pushpak Express were run over by the Karnataka Express coming from opposite direction after they jumped on railway tracks from the running train due to rumours of fire spread in the train...////...
