Kolhapur, Jan 29 (Reporter) The Bombay High Court on Wednesday granted bail to five suspected accused in senior CPI leader Govind Pansare murder case, saying that the case is unlikely to be settled soon.
During the hearing of their bail applications, a single bench of Justice A S Killor observed that the accused were granted bail due to the fact that the case is unlikely to be settled soon.
Due to lack of progress in investigation, the court declared the accused eligible for bail.
Those who were granted bail include Sachin Andure, Ganesh Miskin, Amit Degekar, Bharat Kurne and Vasudev Suryavanshi, who had been arrested in connection of murder during 2018 and 2019 and were behind bars.
Notably, on February 16, 2015, two assailants on a motorcycle fired at Pansare, who was on his routine morning walk along with his wife Uma Pansare, in which both of them were injured. However, Pansare died after four days while being treated at a Mumbai hospital...////...
