Maha: Heavy rainfall continues in Ratnagiri on 3rd day

Kolhapur / Ratnagiri, Jul 14 (Reporter) Heavy rainfall continued to lash for third consecutive day on Sunday in Ratnagiri district, causing nearly all rivers in the district to overflow. With heavy rain, accompanied with gusty winds, lashing all parts of the district, the water level of all rivers in the district has reached up to warning level. While the water level of Jagbudi river in Khed has reached the danger level, raising fear of flood waters might enter into Khed city in next few hours. The Khed-Dapoli highway has been closed for vehicular traffic after it submerged under water at few places. The district has received total 122 mm (five inch) rainfall during last 24 hours ended this morning at 0800 hours...////...
