Hingoli, Oct 22 (Reporter) A mild earthquake of magnitude 3.8 on Richter scale was felt in some villages of Vasmat taluka of the district early on Tuesday. As per information received to District Emergency Operations Centre from the National Seismology Centre, New Delhi, the tremor of magnitude 3.8 on the Richter scale was experienced at 0652 hours early this morning in some villages of Vasmat taluka of Hingoli district, with its epicentre being at Savargaon in Nanded district. Collector Abhinav Goyal has appealed the residents not to panic but remain vigilant and advised them to take precautions before, during and after an earthquake.
