Mumbai, Jan 7 (Reporter) Maharashtra minister for Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Dhananjay Munde, on Tuesday said he has not submitted his resignation from the state cabinet.
Munde, who is under fire over the murder of Santosh Deshmukh, the sarpanch of Massajog, and statewide protests, while talking to reporters, only said that "I have not resigned,while refusing to respond to other queries.
Amid rising unrest over the murder of Deshmukh, an all-party delegation had met Governor CP Radhakrishnan, demanding the immediate resignation of NCP minister Munde to ensure a free and fair investigation.
The police have arrested Walmik Karad, a close associate of Munde, in connection with extortion complaints linked to the murder...////...
