Mumbai, Sep 16 (Reporter) The Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) demanded on Monday that a case be registered and action be taken against Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for allegedly spreading fake news about immersion of Lord Ganpati in Karnataka in an attempt to create religious tension in the state.
A written complaint in this regard has been filed at the Colaba police station.
