Mumbai, May 29 (Reporter) Maharashtra NCP (AP) chief spokesperson Umesh Patil on Wednesday demanded that the state government should immediately file a case and arrest rival NCP (SP) leader Jitendra Awhad for allegedly tearing down Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar's photograph and trampling upon it. "In the name of burning the Manusmriti, Jitendra Awhad tore down Dr Ambedkar's photograph and trampled upon it," he said. He held Awhad responsible for spoiling milieu in the state by performing stunt of allegedly burning Manusmriti at Mahad in Raigad district. While seeking to know what action NCP (SP) president Sharad Pawar is going to take against Awhad for tearing down of Dr Ambedkar's photograph, Patil demanded that Awhad should be expelled from the party...////...
