Mumbai, Apr 22 (Reporter) NCP (AP) national president Ajit Pawar on Monday released manifesto for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections at the party office here.
The party has made many announcements in its manifesto.
It has promised to give free ration to 80 crore people for next five years, houses to four crore people, to extend benefits of the Jan Dhan Yojana to 50 crore citizens, to give status of classical language to Marathi language, to buy grains from farmers at MSP and to protect their rights, to honour Yashwantrao Chavan with Bharat Ratna award and to reduce farmers' dependence on conventional power by harnessing solar, wind and hydro power.
Along with this, under the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, a provision will be made to give Rs 12,000 from the central government and Rs 6,000 from the state government to each farmer.
The NCP has also assured to increase loan amount from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh under the Mudra Scheme, to conduct caste-wise census, to increase scope and level of 'Lek Ladki' scheme, to give 33 per cent reservation to women, to build hostels for working women in the city, to increase opportunities for girls under Khelo India campaign, to give 50 per cent discount for citizens above 60 years of age on railway and Metro trains across the country and support to the central government on its stand of permanent membership for India in the Security Council of United Nations, added the manifesto...////...
