Kolhapur, Sep 3 (Reporter) NCP (SP) president and MP Sharad Pawar on Tuesday visited the Keshavrao Bhosale Natyagrah in the city to examine damage caused by the fire that broke out on the night of August eight and announced assistance of Rs one crore from his MP funds for reconstruction of the theatre. Pawar, who arrived here on Monday evening to attend various functions, visited Keshavrao Bhosale Natyagrah accompanied with Kolhapur Municipal commissioner Dr K Manjulaxmi, who apprised him of the damage caused by the fire. After inspecting the wreckage at the scene, Pawar refreshed his memory of the Natyagrah and announced help of Rs one crore from his MP funds for its reconstruction work. He made an appeal to all elected representatives to give funds from their respective MP and MLA funds for this work.
