Mumbai, Jan 24 (Reporter) A worker died and several injured after a blast occurred in the Ordnance Factory Bhandara, in Bhandara district of Maharashtra on Friday. The blast led to the roof collapse, trapping 14 workers who were in the LTP section of the factory in the Jawahar Nagar area. In the initial efforts, three were rescued alive and a worker died . An excavator was used to remove the debris, a senior official said . Rescue operation is going on and the medical team has reached the spot, officials added. The blast was of such an intensity that it was heard about 5 kms away. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis confirmed the casualty in the factory blast and said five workers have been evacuated.
