New Delhi, Oct 26 (Reporter) The Congress on Saturday announced its third list of 16 candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly election due to be held on November 20.
The names were selected in a meeting of the party's central election committee chaired by president Mallikarjun Kharge, a statement by Congress general secretary K C Venugopal said.
The candidates are: Rana Dalipkumar Sanada from Khamgaon, Hemant Nanda Chimote from Melghat, Manohar Tulshiram Poreti from Gadchiroli, Manikrao Thakare from Digras, Mohanrao Marotrqo Ambade from Nanded South, Nivruttirao Kondoba Kamble from Deglur, Hanmantrao Venjkatrao Patil-Betmogarekar from Mukhed, Ejaj Beg Ajij Beg from Malegaon Central, Shirishkumar Vasantrao Kotwal from Chandvad, Lakibhau Bhika Jadhav from Igatpuri, Dayanand Motiram Choraghe from Bhiwandi West, Sachin Sawant from Andheri West, Asif Zakaria from Bandre West, Kuldeep Dhiraj Appasaheb Kadam-Patil from Tuljapur, Rajesh Bharat Latkar from Kolhapur North and Prithviraj Gulabrao Patil from Sangli.
Earlier in the day, the Congress announced its second list of 23 candidates.
